U2

After the concert was postponed from earlier in the year, I finally got to see U2 perform in Sydney at the Telstra Stadium in Olympic Park. Well worth the wait.

Supporting U2 was Kanye West and he was pretty good, although an odd choice for a support act for a band like U2. Despite a brief shower the show was amazing. U2 were on stage for nearly two and a half hours and it was non stop. I was expecting them to play pretty much everything from their latest album and was blown away by the fact that they played mostly all of their old hits. It was an awesome experience getting to see Sunday Bloody Sunday et al being performed live.

Probably the finest live act I have ever seen.
