Pearl Jam

I have to say from the outset, that I only went to see Pearl Jam because my friend Woody is a huge fan and I said I would go with him. So not being a huge fan meant that I couldn’t really get into the gig as I would have liked to. However I must say that it was a good show and Im glad I went along. They performed well and the atmosphere was good. If I was to make one criticism, it would be of the venue. The gig was at the Sydney Olypmic Park, but was held in the Acer Arena, formally known as the Superdome. Pearl Jam is the second concert I have been to see there and both times I would say that the volume was too low. You can’t go and see a gig like this and yet be able to have a conversation with your mate stood next you by barely raising your voice. Aside from that slight quibble however, it was a decent night out. Im not sure if I would rush out to see them again though…
